‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ Review

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a dark fantasy comedy horror film directed by Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands) from a screenplay written by Alfred Gough (Lethal Weapon 4) and Miles Millar (Shanghai Noon). Featuring returning stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara reprising their roles alongside new cast members Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Jenna Ortega, and Willem Dafoe, it’s a sequel to Beetlejuice (1988). Set more than three decades after the first film, the story follows Lydia Deetz, her daughter Astrid, and her stepmother Delia as they return to Winter River, Connecticut following the death of her father Charles.
