Transformers One is an animated sci-fi action film based on Hasbro’s Transformers toy line of the same name directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4) from a screenplay written by Eric Pearson (Godzilla vs. Kong), Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari (Ant-Man and the Wasp). The ensemble voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm; it is the ninth installment in the Transformers film series and second animated feature after The Transformers: The Movie (1986). Set on Cybertron, the story depicts the early friendship of Orion Pax and D-16 who eventually become sworn enemies Optimus Prime and Megatron.
