Nosferatu is a gothic horror film written and directed by Robert Eggers (The Witch). Featuring Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe; it is a remake of F. W. Murnau’s 1922 film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, itself based on Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula. The story follows Thomas Hutter, a real estate agent looking to create financial stability for his family, who takes a business trip to Transylvania to complete the sale of some property to Count Orlok. Unbeknownst to Thomas, Orlok is an ancient vampire who set up the deal to get Thomas away from his wife Ellen, with whom he has a history.
