‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ Review

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an action-adventure comedy film based on the video game franchise of the same name, directed by Jeff Fowler (Sonic the Hedgehog 2) from a screenplay written by Pat Casey (Violent Night), Josh Miller (Shotgun Wedding), and John Whittington (DC League of Super-Pets). Featuring Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Krysten Ritter, Alyla Browne, and Keanu Reeves. The third film in the Sonic Cinematic Universe (SCU), it’s a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 as well as a follow-up to the spinoff television series Knuckles. The story follows Team Sonic as they face off against Shadow the Hedgehog, who allies himself with the mad scientist Dr. Robotnik and his long-lost grandfather Gerald Robotnik in pursuit of revenge against Guardian Units of Nations (GUN).
