I Know What You Did Last Summer is a slasher film directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great) from a screenplay she co-wrote with Sam Lansky. Featuring Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Jennifer Love Hewitt, it’s the fourth installment in the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise and a sequel to I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998). Set 27 years after the second film, a new hook-wielding killer begins targeting a group of friends one year after they covered up a car crash that caused the death of an innocent man.
