The Running Man is a sci-fi action film co-produced and directed by Edgar Wright (Last Night in Soho), from a screenplay he co-wrote with Michael Bacall (Project X). Featuring Glen Powell, William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Michael Cera, Emilia Jones, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, Sean Hayes, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin. It is the second adaptation of Stephen King’s 1982 novel of the same name. The story follows Ben Richards, a competitor on a lethal reality television show “The Running Man,” in which “runners” can win $1 billion by surviving 30 days while being hunted down by the Network’s five hunters.
