Superman is a superhero action film based on the DC Comics character of the same name, written and directed by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3). Featuring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, María Gabriela de Faría, Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Wendell Pierce, Beck Bennett, Mikaela Hoover, Anthony Carrigan, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. This is the second reboot of the Superman film franchise and the first film in the new DC Universe (DCU). The story follows Superman as he works to prove to the world that he is their protector after billionaire Lex Luthor concocts a plan to turn public opinion against him.
