Between the Temples is an indie comedy-drama film directed by Nathan Silver (Thirst Street) from a screenplay written by Silver and C. Mason Wells (Fourteen). Featuring Jason Schwartzman, Carol Kane, Dolly de Leon, Caroline Aaron, Robert Smigel, and Madeline Weinstein; the story follows a widowed Jewish cantor named Ben who reconnects with his septuagenarian elementary school music teacher who yearns to still have her bat mitzvah.
