‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ Review

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a supernatural comedy directed by Gil Kenan (Monster House) from a screenplay written by Kenan and Jason Reitman (Up in the Air). Featuring Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, William Atherton, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Emily Alyn Lind, and James Acaster; it is the sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) and the fifth film in the Ghostbusters franchise. Set three years after the previous film’s events, the Spengler family including Gary Grooberson now operate as Ghostbusters in New York City. After a cryokinetic god named Garraka is freed from his ancient prison, the family must join forces with the original team to stop him from conquering the world with an army of ghosts.
