Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is an action-adventure superhero film based on the DC character of the same name. The film is directed by James Wan (Saw) from a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (Wrath of the Titans). Featuring Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Randall Park, Dolph Lundgren, Temuera Morrison, Martin Short, and Nicole Kidman; it is the sequel to Aquaman (2018), and the 14th and final installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The story follows Arthur as he teams up with his half-brother Orm to prevent Black Manta from using the cursed Black Trident to free an ancient Atlantean evil that could destroy the world.
