For all those who read One Piece, you know that Eiichiro Oda presented three distinct types of Devil Fruits that grant specific powers to their users. Logia fruits are considered the most powerful of the three Devil Fruit types. They are also the rarest of the three Devil Fruit types overall (not including the Zoan subclass, Mythical Zoan). In essence, they are characterized by giving the user the ability to create, control, and transform their body into a natural element or force of nature and manipulate it at will. If all three of these requirements are not met, then the Devil Fruit cannot be classified as a Logia type.
Devil Fruits that allow the user to create and control any other substance, but do not allow the user’s body to transform into that substance are classified under Paramecia. Likewise, Devil Fruits that change the user’s body into a substance but don’t bestow the power to create and control a said substance are also classified as Paramecia. Furthermore, even if all three requirements are met but the substance itself is not a naturally occurring element or force of nature, then it cannot be classified as a Logia, something proven by the existence of the Mochi-Mochi Fruit, which is considered a “Special Paramecia”.
With that being said there are several more possible Logia-type Devil Fruits that we could see before One Piece ends its run. Below is a list of tangible and intangible elements and forces of nature that could easily work as Logia fruits.
Iro Iro no Mi
(Color-Color Fruit)
A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction, and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicolored circular arc. The Color-Color Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of a rainbow. The user would also be able to create and control color. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body. A special ability could be that the user is able to mimic properties that the color represents. For example, they could make red things hot, blue things cold, yellow things bright. etc. They would also be able to create illusions and mirages since that is essentially what a rainbow is.
Uchu Uchu no Mi
(Space-Space Fruit)
Space is the expanse that exists beyond the Earth and between celestial bodies. Outer space is not completely empty, it is a hard vacuum containing a low density of particles, predominantly a plasma of hydrogen and helium, as well as electromagnetic radiation, magnetic fields, neutrinos, dust, and cosmic rays. The Space-Space Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of space. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body. It has the potential to be the most powerful of all Logia-type Devil Fruits because space encapsulates everything. Special abilities would allow them to summon meteors and black holes from their body. Creating vacuums that cause asphyxiation and hypothermia. They could also summon living zodiacs to fight on their behalf.
Kumori Kumori no Mi
(Cloud-Cloud Fruit)
A cloud is an aerosol consisting of a visible mass of minute liquid droplets, frozen crystals, or other particles suspended in the atmosphere of a planetary body or similar space. The Cloud-Cloud Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of a cloud. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body. Being mostly water it would be grouped with the Chilly-Chilly Fruit and Snow-Snow Fruit. Special abilities would be the ability to summon storms, multiple forms of precipitation such as snow, sleet, hail, and acid rain. They could also create mist and fog as a means to provide cover for their companions. Basically, the user would be a stronger version of Big Mom’s Homie, Zeus.
Yusei Yusei no Mi
(Slick-Slick Fruit)
Oil is any nonpolar chemical substance that is a viscous liquid at ambient temperatures and is both hydrophobic and lipophilic. Oils have a high carbon and hydrogen content and are usually flammable and surface-active. Oils may be animal, vegetable, or petrochemical in origin, and may be volatile or non-volatile. They are used for food, fuel, medical purposes, and lubrication. The Slick-Slick Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of oil. Like the Gas-Gas Fruit, the user can become any type of oil they wish. Special abilities would involve being able to slip out of any non Seastone trap due to their oily skin and light their oil on fire to create massive explosions.
Taru Taru no Mi
(Tar-Tar Fruit)
Tar is a dark brown or black viscous liquid of hydrocarbons and free carbon, obtained from a wide variety of organic materials through destructive distillation. Tar can be produced from coal, wood, petroleum, or peat. The Tar-Tar Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of tar. The fruit would basically give the user the same abilities as the Swamp-Swamp Fruit albeit with tar instead of mud. The user would also stick to their enemies when they attack similar to the Mochi-Mochi Fruit.
Nendo Nendo no Mi
(Clay-Clay Fruit)
Clay is a type of fine-grained natural soil material that contains hydrous aluminum phyllosilicates that develops plasticity when wet. Clays are plastic due to particle size and geometry as well as water content and become hard, brittle, and non–plastic upon drying or firing. Depending on the soil’s content in which it is found, clay can appear in various colors from white to dull grey or brown to deep orange-red. The Clay-Clay Fruit would grant the user an intangible/tangible body made of clay. This Devil Fruit would basically give the user the same abilities as the Swamp-Swamp Fruit albeit with clay instead of mud. However, unlike the Swamp-Swamp Fruit, the user would also be able to harden their body into a golem-like state. This would allow them to create dangerous melee weapons without the need for Busoshoku Haki although that could still be added. The user would also mimic other people by molding his clay body to look like them.
Doro Doro no Mi
(Earth-Earth Fruit)
Earth is one of the four classical elements in ancient Greek philosophy and science. It was commonly associated with qualities of heaviness, matter, and the terrestrial world. It’s a mixture of organic matter, minerals, gases, liquids, and organisms that together support life. This also includes dust, filth, grime, rocks, soil, clay, sand, mud, etc. The Earth-Earth Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of earth. It has the potential to be the most powerful of all earth-based Logia fruits as the user could essentially become sand, mud, clay, stone, tar, etc. Special abilities would include creating massive rock slides as well as mimicking and suppressing the lower-order earth-based fruits.
Hai Hai no Mi
(Ash-Ash Fruit)
Ash or ashes are the solid remains of fires. Specifically, it refers to all non-aqueous, non-gaseous residues that remain after something is burned. The best-known type of ash is wood ash, as a product of wood combustion in campfires, fireplaces, etc. Ash is also a disinfecting agent. The Ash-Ash Fruit would grant the user and intangible body made of ash. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body and use their ash to burn their opponents. This fruit would be similar to the Smoke-Smoke Fruit as they are both the results of fire.
Suisei Suisei no Mi
(Merc-Merc Fruit)
Mercury is a chemical element with the symbol Hg and atomic number 80. Commonly known as quicksilver, the heavy, silvery d-block element, is the only metallic element that is liquid at standard conditions for temperature and pressure. Mercury occurs in deposits throughout the world mostly as cinnabar. The Merc-Merc Fruit would grant the user and intangible body made of mercury. Special abilities would allow the user to create many bladed weapons for short and long-range use as well as give their opponents mercury poisoning.
Mizu Mizu no Mi
(Splash-Splash Fruit)
Water is one of the elements in ancient Greek philosophy and science. It is commonly associated with the qualities of emotion and intuition. It’s an inorganic, transparent, tasteless, odorless, and nearly colorless chemical substance, which is the main constituent of Earth’s hydrosphere and the fluids of most living organisms. It is vital for all known forms of life, even though it provides no calories or organic nutrients. The Splash-Splash Fruit would give the user an intangible body made of water. This one is peculiar due to the fact that Devil Fruit users are weak against water. There are other water-based Logia fruits but so far they are more solid. Special abilities would allow the user to use powerful jets of water to create streams, waterfalls, and lakes to drown their opponents.
Kaze Kaze no Mi
(Twister-Twister Fruit)
The wind is the flow of gases on a large scale. On the surface of the Earth, wind consists of the bulk movement of air. Winds are commonly classified by their spatial scale, their speed, the types of forces that cause them, the regions in which they occur, and their effect. Short bursts of high speed wind are termed gusts. Strong winds of intermediate duration are termed squalls. Long-duration winds have various names associated with their average strength, such as breeze, gale, storm, and hurricane. The Twister-Twister Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of wind. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body. Special abilities would include creating strong gusts of wind to blow their opponent back and turning into a living tornado or hurricane.
Oto Oto no Mi
(Noisy-Noisy Fruit)
Sound is a vibration that propagates as an acoustic wave, through a transmission medium such as a gas, liquid, or solid. Only acoustic waves that have frequencies lying between about 20 Hz and 20 kHz, the audio frequency range, elicit an auditory percept in humans. When sound is moving through a medium that does not have constant physical properties, it may be refracted. The Noisy-Noisy Fruit would give the user an intangible body made of sound. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air at the speed of sound due to their extremely light body. Special abilities would allow the user to travel through solid mediums as well as attack opponents with sound-based attacks similar to Sratchman Apoo’s Devil Fruit albeit much quicker and without the need to create an instrument.
Shio Shio no Mi
(NaCl-NaCl Fruit)
Salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl), a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of salts. Salt in its natural form as a crystalline mineral is known as rock salt or halite. Salt is present in vast quantities in seawater, where it is the main mineral constituent. Salt is essential for life in general, and saltiness is one of the basic human tastes. Salt is one of the oldest and most ubiquitous food seasonings, and salting is an important method of food preservation. The NaCl-NaCl Fruit would grant the user an intangible/tangible body made of salt. The fruit would basically give the user the same abilities as the Sand-Sand Fruit albeit with salt instead of sand. However, unlike the Sand-Sand Fruit, the user would also be able to harden their body into a crystal-like state. This would allow them to create dangerous melee weapons without the need for Busoshoku Haki although that could still be added. The user would also have elongated life/youth due to the preserving nature of salts.
San San no Mi
(Acid-Acid Fruit)
Acid refers to any chemical that will dissolve the structure of an object. When they come in contact with a surface, the surface deteriorates. Depending on the concentration the deterioration can happen in minutes or slowly over days or years. They can exist as any state of matter, including liquids, solids, gases, mists, or vapors. The Acid-Acid Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of acid. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body while in vapor form. Like the Gas-Gas Fruit, the user can become any type of acid they wish. This Devil Fruit would be very dangerous offensively due to the fact that acid can dissolve almost anything. The opponent would have to be a master of Busoshoku Haki to even stand a chance.
Taihi Taihi no Mi
(Duff-Duff Fruit)
Plant litter or duff is dead plant material (such as leaves, bark, needles, twigs, and cladodes) that has fallen to the ground. This dead organic material and its constituent nutrients are added to the top layer of soil, commonly known as the litter layer. Litter is an important factor in ecosystem dynamics, as it is indicative of ecological productivity and may be useful in predicting regional nutrient cycling and soil fertility. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body. The Duff-Duff Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made of plant litter. Special abilities would involve being allowing the user to attack their opponent with mites and other small insects living in their body as well as using sharp leaves and sticks as weapons.
Jin Jin no Mi
(Dust-Dust Fruit)
Dust is made of fine particles of solid matter. It generally consists of particles in the atmosphere that come from various sources such as soil, volcanic eruptions, pollution, and many other materials which may be found in the local environment. The Dust-Dust Fruit would grant the user an intangible body made up of dust. The user would be able to fly quickly through the air due to their extremely light body. Special abilities would allow the user to create massive dust storms for cover and choking their opponents.
Hyōga Hyōga no Mi
(Glacier-Glacier Fruit)
A glacier is a persistent body of dense ice that is constantly moving under its own weight. A glacier forms where the accumulation of snow exceeds its ablation over many years, often centuries. Glaciers slowly deform and flow under stresses induced by their weight, creating crevasses, seracs, and other landforms such as cirques and moraines. Glaciers form only on land and are distinct from the much thinner sea ice and lake ice that forms on the surface of bodies of water. The Glacier-Glacier Fruit would grant the user a tangible body made of a glacier. Like the Mag-Mag Fruit is to the Flame-Flame Fruit, this fruit would be at a higher order than the Chilly-Chilly Fruit and the Snow-Snow Fruit. Special abilities would allow the user to mimic and suppress the aforementioned fruits as well as create giant sheets of dense ice. While the user can be shattered it would be very difficult due to the density of glaciers. Even if that were to happen the user would be able to reform.

Yes steam would make a great Logia Devil Fruit! Unfortunately though this was already used in One Piece: Grand Adventure as a replacement for Smoker’s Plume Plume Fruit and Oda doesn’t like double dipping. Also steam is a gas and thus technically under the umbrella of the Gas Gas Fruit.
