Supergirl is a superhero action film directed by Craig Gillespie (Cruella) from a screenplay written by Ana Nogueira based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Featuring Milly Alcock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, Seth Rogen, David Corenswet, and Jason Momoa, it is the second film in the DC Universe (DCU). The story follows Kara Zor-El as she travels across the galaxy with a young girl named Ruthye to find Krem of the Yellow Hills, a space pirate who poisoned her dog Krypto and murdered Ruthye’s family.
