‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Review

Joker: Folie à Deux is a musical psychological thriller, loosely based on DC Comics characters Joker and Harley Quinn, directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Scott Silver (8 Mile). Featuring Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, and Catherine Keener; it is the sequel to Joker (2019). Set a couple years after the events of the first film, the story follows Arthur Fleck as he awaits trial for the murders he committed. Although his lawyer thinks she can get him off on a plea of insanity, an inmate named Lee Quinzel drives a wedge between them and gains Arthur’s affection prompting him to embrace his Joker persona once again.

Score: Horrible 2/10
