A woman in Charlotte was killed around 5 a.m. Monday  after her car,which was traveling 35 miles per hour, struck a parked dump truck just two blocks from her home.

Cynthia Melton Marlik lived at 2478 Golf Ball Circle. The dump truck in question was vacant thus no one else was hurt in the accident

The police say, “It’s a real dark area down there but not enough to be the cause of the accident.”  Alcohol is the main suspicion to be the catalyst of the accident so toxicology tests were done.
